What changes
- We check the MP4 file for an audio stream with ffprobe first — a silent screen recording or a camera clip with no microphone track will fail fast rather than hand you an empty file.
- The audio inside a MP4 file is already compressed, so this is a second lossy pass. It is fine for listening; it is not the route to take if you plan to master or re-edit the audio.
