Convert Everything
Privacy Policy
How Convert Everything handles uploaded files, contact messages, and temporary conversion data.
What we collect
When you use the converter, we receive the files you upload, the conversion settings you choose, technical request information such as IP address, an anonymous browser ID cookie used for fair usage limits, and basic conversion metadata needed to process and deliver your result. If you contact us, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you submit.
How files are handled
Files are used only to perform the requested conversion, compression, optimization, download, or share-link flow. Uploaded files and generated outputs are temporary. Normal conversion records expire after 2 hours, and public share links expire after 4 hours.
Contact messages
Contact form messages are sent server-side to our support inbox at converteverything0@gmail.com through our email provider. Do not include passwords, payment details, or highly sensitive files in contact messages.
Security and access
The backend API is intended to run privately behind the frontend. Admin tools require authentication. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but the service is designed to minimize retained data and avoid user accounts.
Cookies and limits
We use a small necessary cookie to assign an anonymous browser ID. It helps apply upload and sharing limits fairly when multiple people use the same public IP address; it is not an account and does not contain your files.
Your choices
You can avoid share links if you do not want a temporary public download URL. You can also contact us to ask about a message you sent or report a privacy concern.
