Convert CSV to PDF online
Convert CSV to PDF to turn raw data into a table someone can read. The rows are laid out as a proper table on fixed pages, which is what you want for review, sign-off, or printing — rather than handing someone a text file full of commas.
When should you convert CSV to PDF?
- Share a data extract with someone who will not open a CSV
- Print a table of records for review or filing
- Attach a readable data summary to a report
- Archive an export in a format that displays consistently
Before you convert
Wide data needs landscape
A CSV with many columns produces a wide table. Check the orientation and column widths in the output before printing it.
This is one-way
A PDF of a table is not data. Keep the CSV — or better, an XLSX — for anything that needs to use the numbers.
What happens to your file
LibreOffice opens the CSV with its Calc filter and exports PDF. Calc has its own list of allowed outputs — a spreadsheet cannot be exported straight to a Writer or Impress format, which is why some targets route through an intermediate step instead.

What changes
- Formulas are exported as their last calculated values. Recalculate in the target app if the numbers need to stay live.
- If the document uses a font the server does not have, a substitution is picked before rendering — a close match, not the original. Line breaks and page counts can shift as a result, which is why it is worth opening an important file before sending it on.
