What changes
- Modelspace is what gets drawn. Paper-space layouts, viewports, and sheet borders are not part of the export.
- Conversion is one-way. Nothing here writes DXF back out, because turning a raster or a generic vector file into real CAD entities is a different problem entirely.
- DWG is not supported at all — it is a proprietary format whose only reliable converters are commercial.
